Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about CleanInbox
How does CleanInbox protect my privacy?â–¼
CleanInbox only uses Gmail's read-only permission and never accesses your email content. We only scan email headers and HTML structure to find unsubscribe links. Your personal conversations and sensitive information are never touched or stored.
What email providers do you support?â–¼
Currently, CleanInbox supports Gmail accounts. We're working on adding support for Outlook, Yahoo Mail, and other popular email providers in the near future.
How many emails can I unsubscribe from?â–¼
The free plan allows 10 unsubscribes per month. The Pro plan ($3.99/month) offers unlimited unsubscribes, plus additional features like auto-unsubscribe rules and weekly detailed reports.
Is CleanInbox safe to use?â–¼
Yes! CleanInbox uses OAuth 2.0 authentication through Google, which means we never see your password. We only request the minimum permissions needed (gmail.readonly) and all data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?â–¼
Absolutely! You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your dashboard. You'll continue to have Pro access until the end of your billing period. We also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What happens to emails after I unsubscribe?â–¼
When you unsubscribe, CleanInbox clicks the unsubscribe link on your behalf. The email remains in your inbox, but you should stop receiving future emails from that sender. It may take a few days for the unsubscribe to take effect.
